What it prices
The calculator prices an architecture on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure side by side: each line of the estimate, the savings that apply to it, the security baseline that comes with it, and the totals. The engine computes every amount in US dollars a month and converts it to euros only for display, at one exchange rate that the calculator's footer always shows.
An estimate starts empty. Three samples, a free-text use case and "Add a service" fill it. The small and medium AWS services are priced from the official AWS Price List, on-demand prices for the Paris Region (eu-west-3).
Price this use case
Describe the use case in a sentence and "Price this use case" sends it to an agent built on Claude, which picks the lines from the calculator's catalog: the smallest setup that does what the text describes, scaled with the load it states. The agent only chooses the lines; the calculator's own engine prices them. When the agent is unavailable, a small template ("Starter web app" or "Static site") or the keyword matching takes over, so a small project never gets a large sample.
Share and export
The estimate lives in the page's address, so a link brings it back as it was. "Export" downloads it as a PDF, a CSV or a Markdown file, made in the browser: the lines by provider with their subtotals, the security baseline, the savings, the assumptions and the price sources, with a link back to the calculator.
